Pet Food & Health – Waitlist Privacy Policy

This privacy policy governs your use of the waitlist registration service for the upcoming Pet Food & Health mobile application ("App"). This policy was last updated to reflect our current data handling practices. If we make any material changes, we will notify you via the email address you provided.

The simple version: We collect your email address and platform preference solely to notify you when the App launches and when beta testing starts, if you opted for this. Your email is stored in an encrypted format. If you do not verify your email, we delete your data within 24 hours (and usually much sooner, within the hour). Once we have notified you of the launch, we delete your data automatically after 14 days.

Information Collection And Use

We ask for your Email Address and your Preferred Platform (iOS or Android). This information is used exclusively to send you a confirmation link and a one-time notification when the App is available for your device.

You are asked if you are interested in beta testing. This is optional. If you are interested in beta testing you may get notified if more beta testers are needed. This gives you access to an early version of the app. If you are invited to become a beta tester that email will include further details on how you can join and how to reach out in case of problems.

Data Security and Encryption

Security is our priority. Your email address is stored using AES-256-GCM encryption. We do not store your email address in plain text.

Data Retention and Deletion

We have built privacy into the core of this service:

Unverified Accounts: If you register but do not click the verification link sent to your email, your data is automatically permanently deleted after approximately 24 hours (but usually much sooner).
Completed Notifications: Once we have sent you the "App Launch" email, your data is marked for deletion and removed from our systems after approximately 14 days.
Unsubscribe: You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in our emails, which will result in the immediate deletion of your personal data.

Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your data. We share data only with necessary infrastructure providers to operate this service:

Email Service Providers: We use third-party SMTP providers to deliver transactional and marketing emails.
Security Providers: We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect against bots and spam. Cloudflare may process technical data (such as IP addresses) to verify you are a human.

Location Data

We do not collect or request your geographic location data.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly solicit nor gather any data from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, please contact us.
